PAN is a summer science program for high school students who have an interest in exploring topics in modern physics, specifically nuclear physics and astrophysics. The program introduces students to the fundamentals of the extremely small domain of atomic nuclei and its connection to the extremely large domain of astrophysics and cosmology. Lectures and hands-on experiments were led by faculty and staff of the Department of Physics at the University of Notre Dame as well as visiting faculty.
