Attend Graduate School with JINA!

Interested in discovering the secrets of the universe? Want to study the most important questions of the modern era, like discovering the origins of the elements? Then come to graduate school at a JINA institution and benefit from the vast network of researchers and approaches available. From theory to observation to experimentation in the fields of nuclear astrophysics, nuclear physics, astrophysics, astronomy and cosmology, JINA has a program of study for you.

Graduate Application Fee Waivers:

For promising students with a stated need (especially from under-represented groups in physics; i.e., women, minorities, and/or first in family to attend college), JINA will cover the costs of applying for graduate programs at to up to three JINA institutions. Send the following documents to JINA outreach at the address below:

  • cover letter indicating which JINA institutions you are interested in applying to and why you are asking for a fee waiver;

  • two letters of recommendation from faculty who have worked with you;

  • your statement of purpose;

  • a copy of your college transcripts;

  • your GRE scores (include subject test results, if available).
