JINA's Graduate Research Fellowships

To support and encourage graduate students to choose thesis topics in the field of nuclear astrophysics, JINA offers two fellowship opportunities for graduate students:

  • a pre-doctoral research fellowship of one summer (one semester; or one year) at
    a JINA institution to aid in the development of a dissertation proposal project;

  • a two-year dissertation fellowship to complete doctoral research at a JINA institution.

Application Details:

For the pre-doctoral research fellowship, send a letter of interest stating your research interests and identifying which JINA institution you would like to do research at, a copy of your transcripts, and a confidential letter of recommendation from your advisor to:
