on "Role of Low Energy Fusion Reactions in Nuclear Astrophysics:
Carbon Burning" from May 14 to 16, 2009 at Villa Orlandi,

JINA hosted a refreshing and training course on R-matrix techniques with AZURE at the ISNAP of Physics Department in the University of Notre Dame from February 25 - 27, 2009.

Run by MSU's Honors College, Mathematics,
Science, and Technology (MST) camp offers
intensive two-week courses to over 100 high-achieving
middle school students each summer. This year's program
will feature the first Nuclear Astrophysics course,
taught by JINA faculty and staff from NSCL and University
of Notre Dame. JINA is also funding scholarships for
interested students who demonstrate financial need.

The e-REACTION Outreach Newsletter
is published by the Joint Institute for Nuclear Astrophysics,

newsletter will be distributed three times each year.
