Partnership with Eastside Connections

JINA-CEE has partnered with the Eastside Connection STEM Academy in Niles, MI for a variety of school field trips to Notre Dame and after-school programs. JINA-CEE has helped organize 5 field trips to Notre Dame over the last two years, connecting the school with campus partners such as the DNA Learning Center and the Digital Visualization Theater. We’ve led activities on nuclear science, radiation, and the electromagnetic spectrum. During visits to their school, we’ve led students in Art 2 Science activities and an egg drop contest where “packages” were dropped from a firetruck ladder.
