The call for the selection of PhD positions at the Physics Department, University of Naples "Federico II" (Italy) is now open; we would be glad if you could advertise these positions among your interested students.

The deadline for applications is May 26th, 2020, 12:00 CET.

This year we have 10 full-funded positions, among these 3 positions are reserved to students who got their degree abroad, 2 of whom must be  not-Italian residents.

There are also available 2 additional not-funded positions (meaning that the funding has to be provided by specific research projects).

The application procedure for foreign students is quite simple and is based on personal and academic CV, reference letters and an interview (skype or similar) for shortlisted candidates.

The students selection will be performed in June-July 2020, and the   selected students will start their activity on November 1st, 2020.

The Naples Physics Department is the second largest Physics Department in Italy, with more than 130 staff members, doing research in all the major  Physics Topics like: Astrophysics, Electronics, Biomedical Physics, Matter Physics, Nuclear physics, Subnuclear and Astroparticle physics, Theoretical Physics,  Geophysics.
