The low energy nuclear physics group at Ohio University is inviting applicants for a position as a Postdoctroal Research Associate in nuclear physics.

The position will consist of nuclear astrophysics research in the group of Assistant Professor Zach Meisel (http://inpp.ohio.edu/~meisel#research-section).

Experimental work will be carried out at the Edwards Accelerator Laboratory at Ohio University and the National Superconducting Cyclotron Laboratory at Michigan State University.

 

Candidates must have a Ph.D. in Physics, Nuclear Chemistry, or a related field.

Experience with charged-particle, gamma, and/or neutron spectroscopy are preferred. Familiarity with radioactive and stable ion beam experiments are desired.
