Postdoctoral Position in Gamma-Ray Spectroscopy

In support of our Nuclear Physics program, we are currently recruiting to immediately fill a postdoctoral research position in our Gamma-Ray Spectroscopy group. This group is involved in a number of programs investigating a variety of nuclear structure, nuclear astrophysics, and fundamental symmetries topics at TRIUMF's Isotope Separator and Accelerator (ISAC) ISOL radioactive beam facility. A portion of the group’s research is focussed around the combination of electron and gamma-ray spectroscopy to study transition-multipolarities and electric monopole transition strengths in nuclei. This research utilizes several pieces of experimental equipment including the GRIFFIN spectrometer with the PACES array of Si(Li) detectors at ISAC-I, and the SPICE in-beam electron spectrometer coupled to TIGRESS at ISAC-II.
