The National Superconducting Cyclotron Laboratory (NSCL) invites applications from candidates for a Postdoctoral Researcher position in the area of experimental nuclear science, focused on nuclear structure and astrophysics studies in the charge-exchange reaction group led by Remco Zegers. This is a particularly exciting time to join the group, as we are developing new types of experiments to probe spin-isospin excitations in rare isotopes, with a strong focus on astrophysical applications. In particular, the group is preparing for a (d,2He) experiment in inverse kinematics with the NSCL Active-Target Time-Projection Chamber and the S800 Spectrograph for which the successful candidate will play a leading role.  We strongly encourage interested candidates with a wide variety of backgrounds to apply and hopefully join us in this endeavor.
