Staff Scientist

The Staff Scientist will act as an integral member of the technical group of the JYFL-ACCLAB Accelerator Laboratory Research Infrastructure with responsibility for the technical development of the accelerators, ion sources and other infrastructure related to ion beam delivery. The Staff Scientist will work in close collaboration with other responsible researchers and technical staff in the Accelerator Laboratory. The Staff Scientist may also be expected to deliver teaching and supervise theses in Accelerator Physics and Technology. In addition, the Staff Scientist will be expected to prepare, and if necessary train, to take responsibility as the leader of the technical group and supervisor of the technical staff with a period of two to three years.
